"With a background in luxury hotels and restaurants, then more recently in education, my passion for wine is combined with my experience and qualifications, such as the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Diploma, and the Certificate in Education for Lecturers. Wine as a subject should be approachable, enjoyable, informative and fun! Our events are always designed to increase the confidence of individuals and make wine knowledge available to all."

Neil has a particular interest in matching food & wine, a topic that is often included in tutored tastings and wine courses. He is a regular speaker and presenter on the wine tasting circuit, which includes delivering sessions to wine societies and at food & drink shows, such as the London International Wine & Spirit Trade Fair, the BBC Good Food Show, etc.

He judges for the International Wine & Spirit Competition and writes for Etc - a lifestyle magazine published by Anglia Newspapers and was the author of Discovering Wine - Top That Publishing - 2003.
